There are 3 main goals of the Foundations class. First, we want to offer a forum for people to explore, investigate and examine issues of faith.
Second, we want participants to experience a taste of what community is through conversations over biblical truth and the gospel. Ultimately the best example of community is within a small group structure but this is a great way to get started!
The Third goal is to create an environment to explore the church and what it means to be a Member. This is not about sitting through a theological class. Foundations Class is about having a conversation and is lead by people who have searched and discovered answers to similar questions themselves and have found life in the gospel of Jesus Christ that compels us to respond in love for God, one another, and our community.
Two groups of people. Anyone who is simply seeking to explore what it means to have a faith in Jesus, and anyone wanting to explore who we are as a church.
The only other criteria would be staying committed to the class. The group dynamic and conversations will thrive when people are committed to going through the 4-week class together.
Foundations Class is an 4-week class that aims to help people into a growing relationship with Jesus and Christ Church by creating a conversational environment where you can explore faith and experience community.
