"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son so that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life."
Those who have received His gift and walk in this new life reach out to help others do the same.
This is the essence of ministry: Loving others, serving them, sharing with them the life we've been given in Christ, and inviting them to experience life as it was meant to be.
We are here to serve others, not ourselves.
We serve God in our life of worship and relationships in community. We serve our neighbors by meeting needs in the city and our circles of influence.

We love and serve one another and all our guests through our church-based ministries.

HOSPITALITY & CONNECTIONS TEAM
Everything from First Impressions at the door to Next Steps at our Connection Table, and everything in between. Help be a welcoming, friendly, and helpful presence to all who come worship with us on Sundays.
CHRIST CHURCH KIDS TEAMS
We don’t just babysit the children. We disciple them into young men and women who know and love Jesus. Help shape the next generation with other screened and trained volunteers of the church by helping in a class, teaching or leading a class, or connecting with families and guests at the CC Kids Check-In desk.
CREATIVE ARTS AND CREW TEAMS
Sing or play an instrument? Enjoy photography or videography? Love helping spread the word about Jesus and the church on social media? Just want to help carry and set up for Sunday (or reset afterward)? Each of these is ways our creative and crew teams serve every week.
We love and serve our city by seeking to be a blessing, meet real needs, and develop a genuine friendship with others outside of our church.

BIG HOPE MENTORING PROGRAM AT WORLEY MIDDLE
Developing a partnership with Kid’s Hope, Big Brothers & Big Sisters, and Mansfield Independent School District at Worley Middle School in Mansfield.
Occasionally we’ll hit the streets or serve in local events like the Mansfield Pickle Parade.
The path of discipleship starts with receiving and following the life of Jesus for us. This means we grow as we lead ourselves to love God, connect with His people, and serve others.
We continue to grow as we move from leading ourselves to leading others. Discipleship is both being and making disciples, and we have several opportunities to do this within the church in various teams of two or more people committed to a common goal and objective.
